    I am American Indian but I have no connection to the Osage Nation or County. I have driven through Osage reservation area before to get to Bartlesville, but never went there for the purpose of Osage. I didn't have any idea about the Osage murders or the Birth of the FBI before I started this book.

    I also don't have any connections to the Osage. I am Cherokee Indian and I have never even driven through the Osage reservation. I may not have any connection to them but I can feel empathy for them, as I could with any person or group of people who had to endure hardships.
